The after-school program will have a lot of changes this year. The program will be for elementary students only. There will be no provided transportation. Parents will be required to pick their students up by 5:30 PM. We will also not be able to provide transportation to the Wednesday night youth program. Attendance to the program will require parents to sign up in advance. The form will be sent home with students. If a parent can't pick their child up on time, they will forfeit the ability to stay for the program. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Campbell or Mrs. Rodriguez.

Visitors will need to come to the main office to sign in. Parents will visit with teachers from 5:00-6:00. When you are finished you can come to the cafeteria. The Lion's Booster Club will be providing sausage wraps, chips, and desserts for a free will donation starting at 5:45. We will have an informational meeting for parents followed by Meet the Lions.

There will be a table set up with donated school supplies from Nikki Warms the Cold, the Lutheran Church ladies, and Purina out of Meridian. If your child needs anything for school, please stop by the table. You can visit with the coaches outside of Coach Raulston's room to pick up forms and ask questions. Mrs. Campbell will be set up in the cafeteria to pass out STAAR report cards. Mrs. Murphy will have registration forms and schedules. Hope to see you there!

This year we are implementing a no-device policy. Students will not be allowed to have their phones or smart watches during the school day. We will be implementing the Yondr pouches at our school. Secondary students will place their devices in the pouch at the start of each day. The pouch will lock. They will not be allowed to open the pouch until the end of the day. If a student is found with their phone, the phone will be turned into the office. They will not be allowed to have their device back until a parent comes to school and pays the $15 fine. The phone will not be turned over to the student. We will be sharing a parent letter and an informational video soon. The pouches will not arrive until mid-September. Until that time students will turn their phones into their first-period teacher, and then their last-period teacher will return it. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Campbell.
