Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the start of the 2022-2023 school year! This will be my ninth year at CGISD. The beginning of a new school year is always an exciting time, not only for the students, but for our teachers and staff as well. It is my pleasure to welcome our students, parents and staff back to continue the important work of our school mission by preparing for tomorrow, today.

​I am feeling a refreshed sense of excitement for the start of this school year because of the energy our students, staff, parents and community bring to our school community and all the possibilities that working together provide.

​We look forward to a very positive and productive year! We extend a special, year-long invitation to our families to join us at school activities and events whenever possible.  We value your involvement and support in your child’s education. Communication is vital and plays an integral role in each student’s success.  We encourage you to contact us whenever the need arises.
